This vibrant white wine displays crisp acidity acts as a framework for the peach, almond, and light floral notes in the wine. Benvolio grapes are grown in vineyards located west of San Daniele del Friuli along the cool hillsides of the Alps. This allows for longer sun exposure and superior drainage. The Friuli region has predominately gravely and sandy soils that contribute to Benvolio’s lean mineral tones and clean, ripe aromas. Our vineyards benefit from a complex combination of microclimates, with warm air coming from the Adriatic Sea during the day, and cool night breezes from the snow-covered Alps. Our vineyards also focus on sustainability. Low environmental impact systems and solutions are tested both for the cultivation and for the protection from diseases. We participate in ongoing research and development from selection of new clones to the use of cutting edge farming practices, identifying irrigation and pruning methods that are more in line with protecting the environment.
